All Motion Concepts electronics are designed to ensure the smooth and seamless operation of every power positioning system we manufacture. From the Super Low Pivot Tilt to our most customized power positioning solution, each electronic component is designed with flexiblility and modularity needed to provide years of safe and reliable service.

Motor Controllers standard features include:

		A standard, accessible attendant switch to control the power seating functions or the ability to add one
		Soft start and soft stop provide a smooth, easy transition and eliminate quick, “jerky” tilts or hard stops at the beginning and end of any command
		Drive lockout with SMARTS to eliminate mercury splash
		Standard, independent variable speed actuator control
		Interface capability with electronic operating systems of major power base manufacturers such as Quantum Rehab, Quickie and Invacare

MOTOR CONTROLLERS:

SINGLE Function Contol Box:

Controls one seating function through a separate switch or toggle, or through the wheelchair drive controls
Helix 1.0 Single Function Controller

		When used independently, the 1.0 can control 1 power seating function through a separate switch or toggle
		Equipped with two 1/8" switch jacks that can accept any mechanical switch for direct or auto reversing control
		When interfaced with an M12 interface box (Quickie or Quantum) or a M70 interface box (Invacare) one function an be controlled through the power base drive controls while retaining function of both switch ports
		Variable speed actuator control inside box

M12B PG Interface Adapter
		Provides seamless interface between Helix 1.0 or 2.0 allowing user to control one or two functions through PG drive controls (Quickie or Quantum)
		User still retains all functions provided in Helix 1.0 or Helix 2.0

M70 Invacare Interface Adapter
		Provides seamless interface between Helix 1.0 or 2.0 allowing user to control one or two functions through MKIV or MKV drive controls (Invacare)
		User still retains all functions provided in Helix 1.0 or Helix 2.0

S-21 Single Push Button Switch
		Single push button switch with 1/8" plug
		Allows control of one seating function in auto reversing mode
		Compact & durable, molded into impact resistant and waterproof plastic frames with a rubber gasket surrounding switch to resist fouling from food, fluids etc

S-32 Dual Push Button Switch
		Dual push button mechanical switch with 1/8" plug
		Allows control of 2 functions in auto reversing mode or 1 function in direct mode
		Compact & durable, molded into impact resistant and waterproof plastic frames with a rubber gasket surrounding switch to resist fouling from food, fluids etc

S37 Single Toggle Box
		Single toggle box in compact aluminum box with 1/8" plug
		Operates 1 function in direct mode or 2 functions in auto reversing mode
		Can be used with any application that requires a single mechanical switch with 1/8" plug

DUAL Function Contol Box:

Designed to allow control of one or two seating functions through a separate switch, or toggle, or through the power wheelchair drive controls
Helix 2.0 Dual Function Controller
		When used independently, the 2.0 can control 2 power seating function through a separate switch or toggle
		Equipped with one DB9 plug that can accept any mechanical switch for direct or auto reversing control
		When interfaced with an M12 interface box (Quickie or Quantum) or a M70 interface box (Invacare) one function can be controlled through the power base drive controls while retaining function of both switch ports
		Variable speed actuator control inside box

M12B PG Interface Adapter

S-38 Dual Toggle Box
		Durable, low profile aluminum case with dual toggles and female 9 pin plug
		Allows control of one function in direct mode or two functions in auto reversing mode
		Excellent option for clients with limited hand function
		Drive lockout (DLO) indicator

M26 Four Way Toggle Box
		Durable, low profile aluminum case with dual toggles and female 9 pin plug
		Four direction toggle allows control of 2 functions in direct mode or four functions in auto reversing mode
		Visible LED on top of box for drive lockout (DLO)

ENHANCED Function Contol Box:

Single and dual function enhanced motor control boxes provide the same function as our standard motor control boxes with several additional functional benefits. These control boxes are designed to operate power positioning functions through a separate switch or
toggle box, or can be interfaced with the M12B or M70 to allow operation of the power positioning system through the wheelchair
drive controls. Enhanced motor control boxes offer additional functions, such as:

Accessible attendant control toggle switch standard on top of box
LED on top of box provides visual confirmation when chair is in drive lockout
Variable speed dials are accessible on outside of box for independent control of actuator speeds without programmer

M17/M27 Enhanced Single Function Controller
		Controls single function through mechanical switch with 9 pin or 1/8" plug
		When interfaced with M12 (PG) or M70 (Invacare) allows control of one function through power base drive controls
		Still retains ability to use separate switch when controlling through drive controls
		Accessible variable speed actuator dial and attendant toggle on top of box
		Visible LED for drive lockout

M14/M33 Enhanced Dual Function Controller
		Controls two functions through mechanical switch with 9 pin
		When interfaced with M12 (PG) or M70 (Invacare) allows control of two functions through power base drive controls
		Still retain ability to use separate switch when controlling through drive controls
		Accessible variable speed actuator dial and attendant toggle on top of box
		Visible LED for drive lockout

MULTIPLE Function Contol Box:

Our Enhanced Multiple Function control boxes provide maximum modularity, programmability and function to meet virtually any application. These control boxes are able to control from 1 to 6 power positioning functions while also offering the following features:

Standard Tipsy Angle Sensor & reduced drive speed
Ability to drive an elevating seat system while elevated
LEDs on top of box provide visual confirmation of drive lockout reduced drive and home functions
Variable speed control and attendant control of four motors

Helix 5 Series for Invacare
		For control of up to 6 functions through a separate switch or toggle or through MKIV or MKV drive controls (Invacare ECU)
		Provides the modularity needed to add functions throughout life of power positioning system

Helix 5 Series for PG
		For control of up to 6 functions through a separate switch or toggle or through PG drive controls (Quickie or Quantum)

Seat Function Display
		Custom backlit LCD function display shows direction of seat function
		Controls up to 6 functions in Helix 5 Series Seat Controllers through a single 2 or 4 way switch
		Works with any Input switch with DB9 connection, including ECU

		Backlighting shuts off in 20 seconds

M25 PG Redel Splitter Box
		For use with PG drive control systems (Quickie or Quantum

M11 TIPSY Multi-Position Angle Sensor
		Sleek, sealed, single plug design replaces multiple mercury switches and plugs
		Easy, push button programming of drive lockout, reduced speed and tilt/ limit settings
		Works in conjunction with Helix 5.4 or 5.5 only

Hercules Power Box
		Standard on all bariatric systems
		Enhances power for heavily loaded systems
		Designed with a down limit shut-off

PS96 - Power Outlet
		Provides ability to charge any device with 12 volt power source (auto power plug) from power base batteries
		In-line power harness is compatible with all Motion Concepts controller harnesses
		Durable case with weather resistant rubber cap
		Output 11.5 - 12.5 Volts DC, maximum output 3 AMPS

M16 Splitter Box
		Sleek, compact box accommodates up to 5 mechanical switches
		Converts 5 separate mechanical switch inputs into one industry standard female 9 pin connector
		Useful when multiple mechanical switches are located in several different locations on chair
		For use with 1/8” plugs

S06 Attendant Power Switch
		Instantly shuts down all power to the entire wheelchair seating system
		Single switch can be mounted for attendant or client user
		Overrides unintentional and unauthorized control of power positioning functions
		Power on status is indicated with red LED signal
		Also places power base in drive lockout

M07 Lazarus Jump Starter
		Battery Charger Booster
		When the battery voltage levels drop too low for the automatic charger to start charging, the Lazarus sends the required signal to begin charging
		Durable push button start switch
		Charging status indicated with green LED
		Must be used in conjunction with off-board charger

C53 Actuator Power By-Pass Cable
		Standard on all systems where battery access can be hindered when batteries have been depleted beyond charging and require replacement
		Connects between the existing actuator cable and the elevating actuator
		Bypasses system batteries to operate elevator and service power base
		Works with 12 volt or 24 volt

MACHC - Multi Action Custom Hardware Control
		Used to configure industry standard 2 and 4 way inputs to multiple chair control options
		Provides the ability to program what each switch or toggle command controls in the power positioning system
		Maximize the functional control of each user and their system
